I know that's too low, isn't it? I thought it should be around 99...I recently installed a new evga graphix card and a new power source 400watts. I know the PS isn't all that great, I found out too late that I should've invested more into it. But I don't know why I'm idle is so high. I ran Norton yesterday, full systems scan, nothing. running spy Sweeper now. HiJack this looks fine...Help!

Well, if idle (I suppose you mean System Idle Process) stays around 16, you should see which processes are taking the main share of CPU time...

Yes sir, that's what I meant. Not many go over 25,000. The hogs being my graphics programs, PSP & PS. wow, just realized, I put 8 on here too. But i've got that new graphx card, thought would be OK. But now that I think of it, since I did that those programs are running exceedingly high, like over 70 -80,000. But the Systems Idle has been that way since the new power source. If I got a bad one(source) would you think that would be the problem?

Look in the CPU column and see which one is using the most there. The figures you're giving us refer to memory usage, not CPU usage. The CPU column will show you what percentage of CPU cycles each process is using. Find the one(s) that's high and you find the one that's causing the system idle process to be so low.

Looks like you're ok then. My system idle process in the memory column is at 16 also. ;)
