I use many icons, across 2 monitors for active shortcuts usually at 1024x768 resolution. When preparing something for another user, it is often necessary to check the application at 800x600. But on returning to 1024x768, the icons are everywhere but where the should be! Is there a way to store a snapshot of the icon positions and restore them after changing resolutions?

You're welcome. If you need something a little better, get EzDesk

It's free to try Shareware and allows you to store setting for more than one resolution. It does other thing as well.

    Regards.
