    Hello, all!
    While using Windows 98SE, or 2000 at work, if I hovered my cursor over an HTML file icon I would be presented with a preview of the page. Using XP Home Edition now, this doesn't seem to be an option? Does anyone know how to make this happen? I greatfully appreciate any advice that may be offered. Thanks, Dave

    Hi,

    Go to the desktop and right click on my computer, select properties, then click on the advanced tab. click on the settings button which is underneath performance (the first one), then in the new window that appears, scroll to the bottom of the list, make sure the 'Use common taks in folders' is checked.

    Now when you hover over the site, it should show you a preview of it, if not an the left hand side of the window at the bottom, click the two small arrows that point down. It should now work.....

    Please tell me if this helps.

    No Go

    Hello Liam;
    I have followed your instructions, and found that the box was already checked, but no preview. Even in thumbnail view all I get is a generic Internet Explorer icon. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Dave

    Sweet!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! Worked like a charm, and I see some other items of interest at Kelly's Korner. You made my day!......Dave

    Hi,

    Try this.... open the folder that the file is in, and right click in any of the white area. hover over view, and click thumbnails.

    Hope this works, please let me know.
