    Hello All,

Lately I have been getting this error message after I print anything. I'm using 98SE and an HP 820Cse printer with the latest driver available.

This just started a week or so ago and the only thing I have added is Irfanview. I've gone to HP's website and done a search for 'HPfvls09' and it turned up nothing. I have uninstalled both Irfanview and the printer software. After reinstalling the original software and the updated driver, I'm still getting the same error message.

Anyone out there have any idea what this is all about and what it might take to fix it? Any and all responses will be welcomed. :) TIA

    Daizy, ya did it again

If you weren't married and I weren't married and you lived someplace warmer, I'd propose to ya !! :D Just kiddin'.

There seemed to be about six different solutions to the problem at the above link so I chose the easiest one first and it worked. Chris Morphew's suggestion of de-selecting 'Print Cartridge Query and Bi-directional Communication and Launching Toolbox' was the ticket.

    Thanks again, Daizy. :)
