I deleted the IncrediMail software from my computer, but I still get a pop-up on start up asking me if I want to install it. The install points to Documents~/Grammy/Locals~/temp/iminstall.

I can get to "Grammy" but can't get beyond it to "Loals~ ". I looked at the command prompt with the same result. How do I stop this popup?

I have the Popups blocked turned on.

Did you uninstall Incredimail through Add/Remove Programs or simply delete the folder?

If you deleted rather than uninstalled your best move is to reinstall it and uninstall by the correct route.

If, on the other hand, you uninstalled it and are getting this message clean out your temporary files in the location given in the popup.

The simplest way of doing this is ....

Start > Run > type in %temp% > OK and the Documents~/Grammy/Locals~/temp folder will open.

All files are safe to delete, although one or two will be in use and cannot be deleted.

To try the easiest thing first, run Disk Cleanup...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools. Check everything you want it to clean out and specifically both Temporary files entries. I leave "compress old files" unchecked but you can check it if you like.

See if that eliminates the message.

If not, the folder "Locals~" refers to is "Local settings." Go to that folder and then on to the Temp folder and delete what's in it (except for desktop.ini, which it probably won't let you delete anyway). Don't delete the Temp folder itself, just its contents.
