Resolved How resolve Firewall error.

    A notice displayed on screen that Windows firewall is not working. Unable to turn Network firewall on as error is shown and stops my entering into firewall settings any suggestions please.

    What Firewall are you talking about? The one in Windows or a third party firewall?

    By far the simplest fix is to use Windows System Restore to roll Windows back to a point in time when your computer was functioning correctly. It allows you to undo system changes without affecting your personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.


    If that doesn't help, try restoring an earlier system image or backup.

    Thank you for both replies. SpywareDr your suggestion was tried and proved something had altered computer's settings as Firewall ias again shown and "ON ". I use Microsoft Firewall that is included within Windows 7. Thank you Bobby
