Home Edition Question

    Hi, I am currenly order few dell workstations for my company. and XP home edition is included in the package, my question is may i use home edition to my company or i have to buy pro edition? is legal to use home edition in my small business store?

    Yes, it's legal, but if you plan to network, go Pro. Your life will be easier, and your system administrator will thank you.

    Definitely go with Pro. Home can't join domains (without more tweaking than buying and installing Pro involves) but only workgroups.

    There is a lot more to Pro and since most of us have it, your problems will be solved more easily in this bbs ;) .
