I highly doubt this is a malware related problem. In the 2 and half years I have done HJT analysis, I can't recall any malware disabling keys on any keyboard. (of course having said that, it will turn out to be just that )

This is more than likely a problem with thoes keys specifically. Unless you had some sort massive malware problems, rootkits, spambots all sorts of other things your best place for this would be in the XP forum. Or hardware forum?

I'll move it to the appropriate one.
