Hiya!

[FONT= "Comic Sans MS"]My name is Alex, I`m 46 and live in Dorset which is on the
South Coast of England.

I started messing about with computers in about `89
when a good mate of mine came back from Germany with
an Amiga 500 running workbench 1.2. ( I once dabbled
with an Atari running GEM... Horrendous!!)

I found my interests were mainly hardware orientated
more so than with the software probably because I like
finding out how things work, taking them apart, especially
cars, and then fixing them (hopefully )

I got into PC`s because of Doom (how sad!). Because of
that I eventually got hooked on Counterstrike!!!

I consider myself reasonably computer savvy but always
willing to learn.

Hope I`ve not bored you too much and maybe "speak"
to one or three of you at some point in the future.
