This has been a great forum for getting one's computer cleaned up after an attack. I do appreciate all the people who spend their time helping the rest of us.

I am a novice at this security stuff and as I scan through some of the logs that are posted, I don't really know what I am seeing. However, there is a significant amount of information posted in a log for the rest of the world to see. My question: " Does this posted information pose any risk to us individually as far as opening up our computers to attack from those who have all the necessary computer smarts? "

No, the best I could do is tell you what part of the world your proxy server is located.
You do have to consider that Merjin, the creator of HJT, coded it up as a tool to get rid of spy/adware, provides it for free for whomever wants it, and it does not access the internet.
If someone was to log into XP using their IP address as a user name (not smart), they could have this folder appear.
    C:\Documents and Settings\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Local Settings\Temp
Then it could be a problem, as some baddie would have an IP, and they would already know what open port to look for, hope this victim is using XP's firewall, which could be easily configured to allow this trojan an Exception. This would be done by the trojan itself.

Thanks for the response - makes me feel a lot more secure. I guess I get a bit paranoid at times. I would rather be overly cautious than to have to clean up a mess later.
