The hide inactive icons doesn't seem to be working properly.

Hide is enabled and I've tried disabling and re-enable several times but it won't work automatically. If I select a praticular item to be hidden it does this but none of the others.

Just thought, what governs that the icon is not working? On another machine some are hidden and some aren't. Those that aren't hidden include Intivirus, Skype, Outlook, network connection even though I havn't specifically opened some of them. Those that are hidden include Printer?scanner, UPS monitor, sound card admin.

Is it possible that none are hidden because they are all considered active??

Any ideas or experiences would be wlcome.

Which ones are NOT hiding on the "problem" comp? They could very well be active.
