    HI all,

I am a 67 year old retired HR Manager. The first time I powered on a computer was about 20 years ago, black and white, Dos. I felt the power and was hooked.

My first home machine was a "WANG" purchased at Walmart in 1991, Windows 3.0, 80 MG hard drive, 2 mg memory and I added 6 more MG later for $375.00. Times sure have changed for the better, and I have learned a lot.

I just purchased my "dream machine" a Dell XPS 9000 replacing another 9 year old Dell.

I love trying new programs, new gadgets and I will be dual booting XP and Windows 7, on dual drives, so I can use my old laser printer and scanner, as well as some older software.

I had no problem with Vista, it was a bit aggravating, but had a small learning curve. I expect Windows 7 to be the same.

This looks like a wonderful group! MJAYJAY
