I have totally forgotten how to input hex into registry values.
For example a key value should be decimal 1 and another
should be 256. What should the hex values be ?
Has anyone got a free convertor : decimal > hex
    regards

To convert to/from Hex, Decimal, Octal, or Binary you can use the calculator that comes as part of any Windows OS. Start the calculator, from the menu choose 'View --> Scientific" and you're all set.
