helping a friend..

i conivnced my friend to uninstall kazaa from his computer, only problem is that it wont let him.... hes running windows 98 and i was wondering if there is any way to FULLY remove kazaa without using kazaas uninstall feature?? does regcleaner do the job?? should i tell him to reinstall then try to uninstall??

and download and run KazaaBeGone. It will uninstall everthing Kazaa and all associated with it. The program is at the bottom of the page.

EDIT: This program is safe to run. It was refered by Fred Langa and I've had no reason so far to question him. But if you'd rather uninstall it manually(which is troublesome) first delete the program from the add/remove section in Control Panel. Then click on Start>Find>Files and folders. Enter Kazaa and search. Delete everything Kazaa related. For the registry, I use Easy Cleaner by Toni Arts. It hasn't harmed my computer in any way and seems safe enough.( Been used for years). That should take care of it. But the above suggested program would probably do an even better job and its small, only 41.8kbs. About 1 sec to download.
