Help with Modem: Netodragon

    Have W2K, having all type of device problems since getting this O/S which is more stable than its cousins; which I love.

    However, I had to get a new sound card that was compatible w/W2K (see prev posts); and I recently installed a Netodragon by MOtorola modem.

    Okay, the drivers not listed in W2K, so I went to the www.netodragon.com site and downloaded (I think!) the drivers.
    Modem still not working.

    Is W2K allergic to modems? I have DSL, but that should not be a reason for the modem not to work; it worked in my W98 computer.

    Question: Would it work if it was external?

    Does anyone think the modem would work if it was an ext. modem w/ USB connection?
