I'm really really confused. I can't reboot my computer! I insert my disk for rebooting and restart the computer...I then follow the onscreen instructions to rebooting my XP System...but when it comes to the actual reboot, when a grey screens comes up from a company called SYMANTEC, It won't read some unknown files...and therefore my PC will not reboot.
I need to reboot my PC as I have memory leaks, and this is the only way to resolve the situation according to a website i recently visited.

PLEASE TRY AND HELP ME!

    thanx xxxxxxxxx

    Welcome to WindowsBBS XKeZZsX> :)

I'm a bit confused as to what you are trying to do. No disc is required to reboot. Just click start, then turn off computer, then restart.

"Symantec" is Norton- possibly your anti-virus or firewall? I am just as confused as Noahdfear as to why you need a cd to reboot. Do you mean reformat? Is your computer set to boot from cd in BIOS?
