Resolved Hardware Malfunction

    My IBM Lenovo desktop (Pentium duo core, 1GB RAM, Win XP SP3) keeps halting and displaying the message below on a blue screen. I switch the PC off and on again and it seems to work fine only to behave the same way after a few jobs like printing.

    *** Hardware Malfunction
    Call your hardware vendor for support
    NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error
    *** The system has halted ***

    I sent a message to fkaramagi and asked if there was any update, this is the reply:
    I will mark the thread Resolved, even though it is only partially resolved. I invite fkaramagi or anyone that wants to add some further suggestions to reply.
