Hard Drive Not recognized

Run WinXP Prof. Disk Manager and Partition Magic picks up the slave, but does not assign a letter. It shows it as a dynamic disk. I know changing from dynamic to basic will erase all data. Is there a way to read and save this data?

 

Did you Rescan the disks? Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer management (Local) > Disk Management > Action > Rescan.

Was this disk created on machine that was running Win 2K?
