Hard Disk Crash!

    My laptop hard disk crashed and im curious to find out whether there is software that can help recover what i have lost ..

    It will depend on how bad it crashed.
    If your notebook won't detect it any longer, odds are its dead...

    But, you can get a converter for about $6.00 USB and hook it up to a desktop pc to see if you can copy files off of it.

    You need to tell us what error you get when you start the machine. The manufacturer of the laptop will have diagnostics utilities available (some are not very useful). There may be drive diagnostics in the BIOS/startup configuration settings. You will need to describe what happens and the error messages you get.
