This is a new install of Win2K on a home built computer. Every time I try to run Disk Cleanup, it just hangs there. Anybody else have this problem or know a solution?

Is it "hanging" when compressing old files? If so, that step could take a long time anyway but can be disabled with a registry hack.

Got to agree with unixfan, takes a long time to run esp if system is burdened.

That's exactly when I thought it was hanging up. Maybe I'm just impatient. Win98 did the cleanup task so quickly, I let let Win2K run for almost 5 minutes before I give up.
