On my computer I have my own account and a GUEST account.
My guest account contains a lot of imformation that is also on my own account.
I wish to delete the imfo from the GUEST account but cannot as it tells me that there is another account holder using this imfomation.
I would like to delete the Guest account and then introduce another account that only holds certain software programmes allowing access under my control

    Hi
I wanted to change permissions for users but the guest account seems rather useless to me. I was then told about Windows Steady State. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/sharedaccess/default.mspx I have to say, this is a very good programme for setting permissions. I have set the account I want to have the permissions on to Limited Accounts, and then set the permissions for them. One thing you must make sure is that you put this onto the account you use to maintain the computer (I always have a seperate Admin account, but you may choose to just put it onto yours.)
