Graphic cards

    Hi hope you all can help i have black lines in the background on my pages so i thought i would upgrade my graphics card to cure this but when i looked in my Time computor the graphic card seems to be in built on the motherboard and the tel card is in a slot next to the moden can i just put another card in next to this then plug my monitor into it or not .

    if you install a graphics card in your agp slot it should over ride your on board graphics. If not then you need to go into your device manager and disable the current graphics card.
