I have had a new GENX TFT LCD L17C Monitor since May, it sometimes just goes off with 'no signal' message and I can't get it back unless I switch of processor and reboot, I have tried power management and switching to never on all but this hasn't worked, now, most annoyingly the past few days after a short time of being on the screen kind of fades slightly back and forth, its difficult to describe its not as bad as flickering but its really a nuisance, I've tried emailing the Help Line on the GENX site but I never get a reply. Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hi,

It seems to be having trouble getting a signal from the video card (adapter). First check that the data cable connector is seated all the way.

If you can, borrow another monitor, try that. That will tell you if the video adapter is causing the trouble.

Try your monitor on another computer (just check in case it requires a special DVI connection).
