since then BCC's fro myself to myself do not show up in inbox. they show in sent box, but not inbox (they used to show up in inbox with former ISP )
Plus the OE window that states "completing requested task" " sending 1 message, etc, stays open.it used to close

I don't know why the BCCs aren't showing up. When you retrieve your mail, anything you sent to yourself should arrive in the Inbox unless you have set up some rules in OE that are interfering.

For the dialog box that won't close, in the lower right-hand corner of that box is a tiny icon that is supposed to represent a push pin. Click on it to "unpin" the window and that will allow it to close when the tasks are finished.

I'm on Comcast and sent a mail to my office and bcc'd myself and got it a-ok. Also sent myself and bcc'd myself and only received one mail.

Might look in your online spam folder..

    Bcc's Not Coming Back

    To Miz & Steve
I added my NEWaddress to my address book, which solved that problem, but clicking on the pin in lower right corner did not change that
