A couple of weeks ago my computer crashed and lost my hard drive, luckily I had my web pages and other important stuff backed up on CDs, but now when I installed Office XP and opened Frontpage and tried to open a new page in my existing web folder and tried to save it I get this error message

The server Extensions were unable to access file "service.lck ". Please check the file permissions

What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hurricane,
I'll admit..it's only a guess.......but could it be that when you copied over your web stuff, you didn't change it to archive..and it's still set to read only?
