Hi Guys,
I'm having a little (well, a LOT) of trouble figuring out which connector goes onto which pin.

It's an Asus M2N8-VMX MoBo and a Shaw Super-Sonata Case.

The leads coming from the front audio panel are marked -

Mic In (Green)
Spkout R (White)
Spkout L (Red)
Gnd (Black)
Gnd (Black)
Mic Bias (Yellow)

The pins on the MoBo (from the manual) -

"AAFP
HD-audio-compliant pin definition "

.......PORT1L o o GND
.......PORT1R o o PRESENSE#
.......PORT2R o o SENSE1_RETUR
SEBSE_SEND o .x blank
.......PORT2L o o SENSE2_RETUR

I have tried what I thought was correct without success. Wondering if any of you good people would have a little insight into this. Maybe the connectors are wrong for the board? I'm at a loss.....

Thanks in advance,
Den

Well this could be trail and error, your board is not as you state ASUS M2M8-vmx it is M2N8 vmx.
I had a look at the Manual and it appears that the connectors on the board cater for 5 or 6 channel but your front on the case is just 2.1 as you have 2 right channel and 2 left channel the return could be the outs, but this is only guessing strange wording on the mobo.
Hopefully someone who has set up this Board might put you on the right path.
