    ok this is the deal.

I had a domain name: www.myname.co.uk which forwarded to my free webspace which was to a long address http://homepage... etc. I had the setting so that the domain name was kept in the address bar.

I now dont want my www.myname.co.uk domain and decided to build another site with a different domain name, to be forwarded to my webspace, as before.

But when sum1 types in my old domain name in the address bar I want it to change to the new domain name.

Can you do this at all?

Its a bit complicated like. :D

    Any help really appreciated. :D

EditURLs lets you edit the drop-down URL address list in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x thru
6.x. The easy-to-use interface displays all the current addresses, enabling you to save the
list for future recall, clear the list completely, and edit or delete individual URLs. The

Do you want to redirect the old page to the new one (. example ). If so, you need to put a meta refresh redirect tag in the heading of the old page. Look here for an explanation of how it's done. If that page isn't clear enough see if you can find something that explains it better for you in this google search . To do this though, you'll have to leave the old page up for a while.
Also, maybe you can get the old page DNS address changed to the new one if you get in contact with whoever hosts the page. I don't know if this is possible or not as I don't have a web page and have never had to do this. If you can do this I suppose you'd have to hang on to the old domain for a while in which case it would seem the redirect tag would be the easiest way to go.
