Folder icons keep moving !

    I'm running XP Pro. I created a folder with all of my games. I had them all arranged just the way I wanted. But now every other time I open the folder the icons are in a different order and are "tiles" instead of "icons ". How can I keep them from changing? I've right clicked and unchecked all the "arrange by" options.

    sputnik - Welcome to the Board :)

    By default Windows remembers 400 folder settings - likely you have exceeded this number.

    Go here , hit the F tab and scroll down to Folder Views - keep settings. I suggst you follow the link to the reg file rather than edit the registry manually - Increase Folder View Options Limit: (Line 2)
