folder appearance

    When I have created a new folder on my desktop it looks like a folder. Is there some way to change the icon to a new picture? I have changed my regular folders such as my documents, but I can't find a way to change new folders. Thank you.

    Why don't you put a shortcut to your folder on the desktop then a different icon can be selected.

    Thank you so much I went to that site and downloaded the change icon and it works beautifully.
