Hello, This is my first post as the quick introduction. I seem to just get my HP desktop and Sony lap top running stable and a new windows up date or other new change messes everything up. Now I loaded a new program I bought and it stops my Sony from booting. Says systems32\hal.dll is missing or corrupt.

I can not even do an f8 boot and sure stumped as to what to do next and would need lot of help.
