Firefox won't open -no prev. posted fixes have worked

Firefox has never given me a problem until recently. It all of a sudden will not open. It opens in the background (when I check under task manager it has opened as a process) but the firefox window never loads. I have tried every fix that I have read. I have closed it out of the task manager and tried to open it again. I have tried to run ff safe mode and the same thing happened. I have tried to install an update or reinstall(w/o uninstalling first) and the process completes but when I go to open ff it still doesnt open. Finally I tried to uninstall it and nothing happens, the add/remove program window freezes, and sometimes a rundll32 error message pops up that it has stopped responding. I am addicted to ff and I need help
