    Hi to all,
    I downloaded Firefox, and was wondering about using different themes. Can anyone tell me their experience with them and which ones they like. Also, are they pretty stable? Another question -- the icon in the right corner of the screen (the circular dots) that takes you to the Firefox home page -- are there any options to change that?

    Thanks for your time!

    Jeane :)

    Go here for all the available themes for FF 1.0
    I use Nautipolis, Noia extreme and Silver Skin mainly and have had no probs.

    That's called the 'Throbber' and I don't think as yet it is changeable. However, it is different from theme to theme.

    Viewing themes

    Thanks Keith for your help. I went to your website to download themes, but how do I preview some of them?

    There should be a homepage link you can visit if they are not displayed on the theme page.

    I have lost my ability to search the web !?

    I see I have bunch of searchplugins in Mozilla folder but they do not show up on the top right side of the browser. Any ideas? Reinstall? :cool:

    Jeane & keithy ...

    It is changeable, and it's quite easy. Use a text editor such as Notepad to open the user.js file in your Firefox profile. If the line
    user_pref( "browser.throbber.url ", "http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php?c=4 ");
    isn't present, add it. In either case, delete everything between the second set of quotation marks and replace it with your desired URL.
