Running Firefox ver 1.5.0.6. Is there a way to change the display time for the (download complete) popup message that you get when a download is finished? The message only displays for a few seconds on my PC. Can I increase that display time or can I change it to stay on the screen until I tell it to go away?

    Gordon,

Have you checked your download options? Go to Tools -> Options -> Downloads -> Download Manager. Uncheck the box next to "Close the Download Manager..." if it is checked. That should take care of it unless I misunderstood you.

    I think this is it.
    In "about:config" find "browser.download.manager.showAlertInterval "
default is 2000, right click to change this.

And, now, select: Help|Check for Updates, and you should be able to get the latest version, i.e. 1.5.0.7. It will be a small file. I have not downloaded a complete file since 1.5.0.2, and never missed a step.
