Firefox and Outlook & AIM

Whenever I open a link in Outlook from an email, it opens 2 Firefox windows. Any other link only opens once. Also, whenever I go into AIM to add a link to an instant message from my open firefox window, it tells me that "There is no Internet browser currently open, or your default browser is not in use." Any ideas? This is my first go around with Mozilla/Firefox and I like what I see so far except for these small probs. TIA.

 

Well I was checking out some other posts here and discovered Dennis L's repsonse in this thread http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=34299 and sure enough that is what my problem was. I ran the registry patch and low and behold I can add links fron AIM, and only one window opens up. Thanks Dennis L, although you had no idea you were solving my problem as well
