So... anyone else having success? So far everything is down. According to Dotzler, there would be no problems. Folks asked for mirrors but some new technology made them unnecessary. Well... so much for their childish Guiness Bk of Records record for downloads in a day. Perhaps next time they'll think these things through in a more mature, responsible manner. This is really sad.

It's up and running now, in Texas at least, and it's very slow. I did get it and it's nice.

I have been using all the betas, and RCs, but hesitated in getting the final version, but then decided to give it a go. Absolutely no problem has been encoutered. I had selected a folder, doing a Custom Install. I, then edited the Target line, adding profile previously used by the RCs, and opened FF3.0.
I had deselected the box to make 3.0 default, which comes early in the installation, and, even checked if it was default. It was not. I then went to FF2.0.0.14, which had been my default, and, immediately I got a popup saying that 2.0.0.14 was not my default. Since this has happened before, I must be asking myself: "What part of No is not understood by FF3.0? ".
But other than this minor nuisance it has been no trouble. FF3.0 final seems to have overwritten RC3, because I did not uninstalled.

I finally got it as well. Can't see any difference between it and the RC release. I was unimpressed with the difficulty in getting it but I suppose when millions are all trying to get it at the same time... well... something's gotta give. Overall... it looks like a fine browser. :)

    Is there still trouble?

I had no trouble, one XP machine, two Vista machines, everything is hunky-dory.

No problems here. The dust has settled and both my wife and I are updated.
