File sizes

    hey all, HELP!
    Ive been tryign to create a large file ( over 4 gig) well i say create, im dowloadign a file over 4 gig but when it gets to 4 gig, i get an error sayign that it can not create a folder this big, ?? well why not, and how can i change this , or get around this???

    flyboizzz - Welcome to the Board :)

    Your hard drive is formatted with the FAT 32 file system which has a 4 Gb file limit.

    You need to convert your drive to NTFS - How to Convert FAT Disks to NTFS

    Before you attempt this be sure to back up all of your personal data in case something fouls up.
