I downloaded some files using firefox v2.0
I can see the files in the download manager, but when i click on them, it says the files have either moved or are no longer at the original location. I have searched my entire hard drive, but cannot find the files. Does anyone know where they might be ?
    Thanks.

The location of the downloaded files is determined by the setting in Tools|Options|Main| downloads (in the middle of the page). As a convenience, I have set that location to files to the Desktop, so that I don't have to go fishing.
You can have the program ask you where to save files, and you are to determine that. I have set to delete the Download History in my Private Data settings, thus avoiding the problems of Netscape6/7 and Mozilla which stopped downloading if the History was overcrowded. No, I would not know what happened to you, but the settings are straightforward.
