File Convertor

Hello all members of this site,
I want to know that is there any software which converts .psd files into .jpg/.gif files. IF anybody know kindly intimate me. I have seen that any .psd format file does not convert into .jpg ,.jpeg and .gif format ..psd format is useful only with photoshop. If one does not have photoshop software he cannot read his .psd files.Please help me intimating the file convertor.Thanks and regards .

I just tried using Irfanview and it worked. I downloaded a PSD file from the internet and saved it as a JPG. Irfanview is free.

Hello dobhar,Thanks for taking interest on my request. I visited irfanview site and found that it is not for win98 windows ,still I tried to download this but failed due to action canceled everytime.However I may try some other day.I want to know whether this will work on win 98.Which OS do u have? Is there anyother software too for win98?

mishrarc --Is Irfanview the only program you are having problems downloading? If this happens in general, clean out your cache. (Among other tools, use IE Tools|Internet Options|General tab|Delete Files.)
However, when do you get that Action Cancelled message? When you try to access a download site? Or when you have the Download window showing and are trying to Save the download? If when you try to access a download site, it could mean that the site from which you are trying to download is in your HOSTS file. That would block access to the site itself, and the Action Cancelled message often shows up. If the site is in your HOSTS file, remove it and click Save.

Thanks all of you to take pain and sparing your valuable time for me . I downloaded irfanview and it is working alright. I could change over psd file into jpg files.Thnaks once more.
