    WinXP SP2, Home.

FF appears to be slowing down (speed-wise). Specially during the loading
    process.

I installed FF2.0 over the previous version and it seemed to run OK but then the
    slowdown started.

I moved my extension and bookmarks to a "Save" folder.

So, I uninstalled 2.0 and removed any leftover files\folders then did a fresh
install. I moved my extension and bookmarks back into FF and this seems to have
    fixed the slowdown problem.

    Anyone seen this slowdown????

    thanks,
    savagcl

Never saw a slowdown, but did you try to start FF in safe-mode, thus eliminating the effect of extras.

    Clif,

Even though Firefox 2.0 does address some memory usage problems, the biggest resource hog on Firefox has traditionally been poorly written third-party browser extensions. Mozilla is working with add-on developers to correct the memory usage problems, and may at some point give users an idea of how much memory each extension can be expected to consume before installing.

If you had done as Westside suggested, I imagine you would have seen a difference in memory usage without the extensions...
