It usually tells you what command failed to executie.

Download the free utility AutoRuns from Sysinternals/Microsoft: http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Autoruns.html

Uncheck whatever startup program was listed with the error message you received.

It is likely under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\.......\Run catagory.

    For future reference:
Right-click any new download, and choose the option to have your antivirus scan the file before executing, even if it is a ZIP file.

Or in the alternative, you can use an on-line virus scanner:

    http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus.html
    Uses 15 different scanners: http://virusscan.jotti.org/

I do not know, but, \windows\system32\drivers is a critical directory for Windows and there is no folder that comes with XP under that path called Wingen or anything remotely like that.

Moreover, LSASS.EXE is a Windows file, but is not loaded from \windows\system32\drivers\Wingen

You should take this thread to the Spyware and Viruses subforum for analysis of all the starting locations for your processes and Service entries.

    I second that!

Read this post, then post a HijackThis log in the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum.
