    Hi All,

First off in regards to the issue:
    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=39722

I rebuilt the system fresh and it was fine for about a month. After the month it started crashing with the same errors.

I found a few bugchecks which Microsoft has listed as CPU issues. HP came out and replaced the memory, didn't fix the problem. They then replaced both the Motherboard and the CPU and it booted up flawlessly.

Now I have just seen it rebooted unexpectedly and with all the hardware replacements I am unsure of what this could be. I looked on google and people claim it is memory but seems a bit strange when it was all just replaced. I wanted to show you guys a dump file but it didn't generate one it seems.

    The eventlog shows:
    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: USER32
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 1076

Might be generated by when some applications/drivers installed on that system are not fully compatible with the operating system. For example, installing certain applications on Small Business Server may cause this even though on a Windows 2000 server they are running fine.
Make sure that the latest firmware/drivers/service packs are installed for both Windows and the applications running on that computer.
    :)

Hmm, well it is a HP ML330 G3 server using the Support Pack which installs all the HP certified drivers.

The only application I can think of out-of-the-ordinary that might be causing issues is APC Powerchute Business Edition monitoring a BK500 UPS which came with a USB cable, we however got a serial one off APC and can now use business edition but I am unsure on if it is causing problems.

    Regards,
    Jason

powerchute is user mode, it wouldnt be able to take out the whole machine, only crash the svchost its running in.

Make sure you turn off ASR if you are trying to collect a dump. ofttimes it will reboot your machine in the middle of the dump being saved out.
