Hello! Over the past year my mother's new dell has gone...well...down the tubes. It hasn't been looked after very well and this very good machine is just...blah. It freezes every application you use almost, the tool bar tends to freeze every day, just everything is falling apart. Not only that but spam programs have been downloaded as are meaningly applications. My mother wants me to wipe the entire hard drive and bring it back as if she had just set it up for the first time (With ME installed). Would you know how to do this?

She should have a recovery disk that came with the computer. Just put it in the Cd drive and reboot and follow the prompts.

If she doesn't have the disks, Dell may have them if you give them the Model of the computer.
