edimax switch

hi guys today my edimax switch 24 port making so noise the sound is like very fast motor running when i unplug all cables from switch the noise stop and when plug in sound starts some time sound stop and some time noise any one can help or expert about switch any help to stop noise from switch

Noise (buzzing) from electronic components is not a good sign. Check if there are any fans or moving parts (I can only think of fans ) that may be clogged with dust.

Unfortunately, the switch may be close to breaking down.

Edit:...mmmm...try sitting something heavy on the top of it. That may keep it from being too annoying for a while longer.
Edit2: sound insulating material around it? (don't cover any cooling vents)
Edit3: in the meantime find a good priced replacement
