Earthlink & Routers

    I am running a p2p network at home with one machine using a software router (nat) and Earthlink dsl. I want to switch to a hardware router but I am worried that it might not work as Earthlink requires me to log on to access the internet. Has anyone encountered this problem?

    Don't see any reason why one of the hardware router/switches wouldn't work just fine.
