Resolved DVD Drive is gone

    For some strange reason, my DVD read/writer drive has disappeared.
    It does not show up in "computer" nor in drive management. I cannot find
    anything in help on restarting this drive..Any help ???

    The link has a nifty new: To fix this problem automatically, click the Fix this problem link. Then, click Run in the File Download dialog box and follow the steps in this wizard.
