Duel Booting Error

In my computer i just got the duel booting to work with WinXP and RedHat 8. Trust me if you want to do this be prepared to backup all your stuff and have lots of patients.

Anyways, when i first turn on the computer in the day it asks the boot fine and ill go to like RedHat, but then i wanna go to XP.

Now i restart the computer and it gives me a Read Error with the duel booting. But when i turn it off and wait 15secs and turn it back on its all good. And constantly im getting a Keyboard failure. What is the cause of this???

PS: I think the computer was in the middle of committing hari kari just as i caught it. Its on an Iv Silicone drip for the time being.

 

Which boot manager are you using?

 

Im using the duel boot manager that comes with Red Hat 8.

 

You might try a different boot manager. GAG is a graphical, free, boot manager that I just started using when I added Win98 (for one game) to my XP installation.

It is installed and uninstalled from a floppy and allows booting to 9 different operating systems.

It will depend somewhat on how difficult it is for you to remove the RedHat manager, but it may be worth a try.
