    Hi,

Do all versions of Vista support dual displays/monitors? I.e. do they all support graphics/video adapters that have dual ports on them like analog + digial, or 2 * digital?

The reason that I ask is that I was looking at this website:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/editions/choose.mspx

This is the 6th feature on that page and is not included in Home Basic:
    • Extend Windows Vista to secondary displays and devices with Windows SideShow
That sort of makes me think that Home Basic dos NOT support two displays. But maybe it is just Windows SideShow that is not not included in Home Basic.

    Thanks,
    Bill

There's no reason why Any version of Vista can't do dual monitors...
If you'll click on the "side show" part, you'll see its talking about something else;)

    Steve,

    Thanks for the reply.

I had looked at it but have grown to not trust documentation because it isn't always 100% accurate and wanted a second opinion.

    Thanks for the reassurance,
    Bill
