My appologies for raising a new topic on this subject, but despite following links all over the place and trying various fixes - including right-clicking the Spybot search and destroy findings, as below, and deleting the 1004 Reg_SZ entry and replacing with a Reg_DWORD value 3. Spybot still reports the problem, whether you remove the key or not, and, despite making manual adjustments to the registry as noted - Am I missing something?

Using fully patched (inc SP1) XP pro and XP home

    Hello

SpyBots forum Is down for maintenance for a few hours, or I would link you to the Pinned topic in the spybot 1x forum area,
If there are no other drastic problems searching and such, consider it a false positive. continue to keep fixing it or not,, there working on a fix and it will be included in the next updates, I gather.

:) Thanks for that - I was beginning to think I was going round in circles. This is the problem when there are a number of 'conflicting or differing' views / reports.
