Hi, just upgraded Win98 for Win2k and found its changed my drive letters.
I have 2 physical drives C,D then the 2 CD/DVD drives E,F then another physical drive G on the Promise RAID controller.
In WIn98 All my physical drives were C,D,E then CD/DVD F,G. With this drive moving, links have changed and progs dont like running.

How do i change my Physical drive G to E so that HDD's are C,D,E and CD/DVD's are F,G??

    Thanks for having a read.

    Stuart. :)

Get into disk management. Change the drive letters to suit yourself.

You will have to do a temp letter change to something that won't be in use to have room to swap the drive letters around though.

And you will need to be logged on with an Admin account.
