Downloading SP2

    I had to reinstall XPHome and want to download SP2 again but I can't seem to find it thru the various update mechanisms. I was sent up to MS update area and could not find SP2.

    That site seems only to have SP2 for developers and not me. And the one after that is an update for SP2.

    That's the way the download for sp2 comes (all 266 mb's of it). If you go to Windows Update, are you not offered to have sp2 installed? See notes HERE about using Windows Update. Or go HERE to order the CD (it's *free*) HTH

    There's 3 ways to get xp sp2;
    1. download the entire xpsp2 for developers & it professionals.
    2. cdrom (is same as #1)
    3. windows update website - downloads only what is needed for your system at that time.
